The Heart Day
In light of Valentine's Day, I just want to say how grateful I am for such a wonderful guy! I had a really bad day on Sunday...I was kind of be-littled and attacked, by a girl, in front of other girls in my presidency, about the way I was doing/running things...I haven't felt that way in a long time...I thought I was trying really hard and doing my best?! Anyway I got a really sick feeling in my stomach and couldn't shake it. For a day or two I just felt really bad about myself and questioned alot about myself and who I was...it was wierd , I don't know why I let things eat at me so much...anyway Martys' really helped me pipe back up...he played this song (the one that is playing right now if you have your volume up) for me and I had never really listened to the words before until then. He helped me get over it and feel good about myself again and supported me as I talked and talked about it to him... (he knows I am not a "RED personality" and think too much about what people think) and I love him dearly for being my best, best friend....here goes to a great hubby.....might I add handsome too...p.s. the next song on my playlist if you are here that long is one of my favorites for lovey moments...

I love you, Mindy. Lots.
Cute pics! I love the misuc...I'm not sure if it is just my computer but it kept cutting out...so check it and see! It's probably just , my crazy computer.
I am glad I am not the only one who worries about things. It is good we have husbands that can tell us we REALLY are great inspite of some dumb girl! When you figure out the secret to not fretting over something let me know. She was probablly obviously RED and went on her merry way and has no idea you were even hurt!!! You are awesome, don't let her get you down!
okay it was my computer! YOu have a ton of new posts...your babies are cute I love the picture of her sleeping...I could never do that!
Mindy...thanks a bunch for your kind words. Don't worry about what that girl at church said to you...you have so many amazing qualities of a leader. Don't let it get you down. It looks like you got your music figured out...if you have any questions you can email me at mleyut@yahoo.com. I got my playlist off www.playlist.com, then uploaded the link to the bottom of my page. Anywho--Happy V. Day! :)
Mindy,
You are so open and so brave. I think everyone has had an experience like that at sometime in their life, and it like shock and awe for a while. Maybe she was PMSing or maybe she had some other issues and she is like me and doesn't have that filter in her brain that keeps her from saying stuff that comes into her head. I know without a doubt that you are a fabulous leader and that you are diligent and great. This is a good learning experience right?? And way to go Marty. It's good to be there when someone needs you. Good job for being just what Mindy needed. Love you both tons. Mom
PS How do you do that music thing?
blogger pro...i haven't figured the music out yet...
So, what the heck?! I don't doubt your leadership skills ONE BIT! I'm sure you're doing awesome...keep on keepin on! You are flippin AWESOME!! What a sweet hubby you have! Hey...did i take that pic on the way to St. George? Is that weird that i remember that? Oh, we need another weekend getaway to st.george! Miss you guys! XOXO
I truly don't know how some people have the nerve. You are such an amazing woman...I have admired you as long as I known you. I'm sure you are doing a fantastic job. It's funny how people seem to pick on leaders when it's not like you jumped in line for the position, you know? Everyone needs to be in charge sometimes to know how hard it really is to call the shots... She's probably insecure or has her own issues and likes to take them out on others... Sorry, I'm really going off, aren't I? I just think it's unreal how people can be so insensitive. That kind of thing is hard for me, too...really takes the wind out of your sails, huh? I love ya. Way to pull out of it...good hubby.
Becca
p.s. Your kiddos are darling...can't believe Ruby fell asleep like that!
Mindy, I love the blog entries. It is SO fun to hear about you and your family. And don't worry about that girl from church. You seriously are the most amazing person. I've always admired you! You're such a delight to be around, and always willing to work hard and accomplish whatever needs to be done. Glad you have Marty around to cheer you up. You're the best!
I'm glad Marty helped you feel better. That story made me mad on the way home. Ryan got to listen to me rant and rave about your injustices! We love you!
I am the same way. I hate confrontation and hate the way it makes me feel (for days) even worse. The advice I am given is always "Don't worry about it." Um, much easier said than done! I am a yellow, not a red, and it really hurts when you are trying and someone bags on you. Do you want me to beat her up for you? Cause, I totally will...me and my huge muscles (ha!) But, then there is the cute husband card that always works and makes up for the bad times. You guys are so cute together.
You and Marty are the cutest! We are pretty lucky to have guys that we love and that love us, yea for wonderful men and Valentines Day to remember them.
Love your guts!
What a great hubby! I'm the same way ...I totally let stuff get to me...I hate it...thank goodness for all those people who know the real you and love you!
I love the Valentine tribute to Marty...I have noticed how supportive he is of you and vice/versa(if ya know what I mean) just remember that no one will do a job the same as you...but isn't that the point! you were called for YOUR special skills, abilities and personality...you go girl!
