black island farms- brrrhahahahaaa!
We went to this awesome, fun, expensive place last year too. And I think my kids will demand to always return. It IS a bit pricey but I found 50% off tickets online... hooray! So we enjoyed it all the more.
The "jumpoline" was crazy fun...
Favorite thing for the kids was the slides...even the parents want to keep going!
Charles was SUCH a good baby to hang out for most of the night.! I seriously have an angel baby.
Look at the pure joy on ALL our faces! Ha , so funny.
We had left over money on our certificates and bought them these 5 dollar plastic swords!! what the?! They surprisingly still work! The kids are real careful to turn them off when not in use as to save the battery life! So economical.
Hello Kitty keeps jumping out at ya, doesn't she? Kinda freaky, yet Ruby is obsessed with this outfit...picked it out herself. |
I love this spooky time of year.! The sunsets each night make everything just GLOW and all the bright fall colors of leaves is not comparable to anything else. I crave it, love it, need it. |

Sweets
We made applesauce at my mom's the other day. It was so sweet and yummy. I love the smell of canning applesauce. And then (at their request) my mom fed the kids blueberry pancakes for LUNCH...right in the middle of stewing tomatoes and apples! Talk about the love of a Grandma!
I had the chance to get together with my sweet, dear high school friends. It is amazing that we still have this bond. It's so nice to have people that you have known from the 'beginning'. We talked about movies, books, kids, parenting, babies, shaving (the do's and don't's), hair (a trick I learned recently, baby powder OR better yet dry shampoo-you can buy at the beauty salon-lets you go one or two extra days without a hair wash!), food, health, Obama, the fear of raising kids in the world today, pregnancy, when to give a kid the sex talk, work, memories, etc... btw, Tash-how do you have not an ounce of makeup on and still look as beautiful as the rest of them! Natural beauty - a wonderful thing I presume. |

no WREST for the WRIGHTS!
We went to this crazy and FREE museum at the BYU campus filled with stuffed- animals of all sorts. The kids went bazerk! Below is my beautiful sis-in-law and her equally beautiful child- Luci.
My nephew Jake (from Charleston) and -now in college~ what the >!? And my Cali nephews Jeremey (GERM) and Anthony. Liam was in big guy heaven...
Course we gotta eat at Cafe Rio for my MOM in law's sake!
And then ...IceCream!We had a feast of HOMEMADE Chili -thanks to Ryan and Becca- at our house on Sunday~
My gorgeous niece again, who might I add, is SINGLE! Living in Provo! She obviously is going to be a great mommy...Charlie wanted to be with her all night!
And then, after Southern Georgia Poundcake with fresh peaches and mascarpone cheese cream (let me know if you want the recipe...to die for), we had a little rough housing...
